The sun rises day in and day out – but the sun rise on Dachstein is something else. Therefore, we have a special offer in summer: experience the sun rise in Dachstein!
From the 26th of June to the 11th of September, there is a sun rise ride every Thursday. The cable car departure times change with the time of the sun rises.
The drive up with the Dachstein cable car is an experience in itself – it covers 1,000 meters in height without a single support! Upon arrival, you will be astonished at the beauty of it all – first the sight of the rising sun coming over the Schladming glacier and then the delicious breakfast in the Panorama restaurant – the highest restaurant in Styria.
In the package price of EUR 35 for adults (EUR 24 for children), the mountain and valley rides with the Dachstein cable cars as well as the breakfast is included.
The sun rise breakfast is also the ideal start for hikes and mountain tours around Dachstein. Registration at the valley station of the Dachstein cable cars (03687/22042-800 or dachstein@planai.at) is absolutely necessary!
