Dachsteinhaus (1.440m)

We are within approx. 10 minutes walking distance, or easily accessible by car, from the starting point at Edelbrunn. Enjoy the beautiful panoramic view from the terrace, while the children have fun on the playground and the manageress prepares typical Styrian meals or light vegetarian dishes for you. Due to its wind-protected location, the sunny terrace is also very inviting in the winter. In the restaurant, which has a tiled stove, an abundance of purchasable wooden toys and carved figures await you. A small but lovely nativity set exhibition is on display the whole year round. Every Sunday afternoon, from mid-July to mid-October, musicians, signers and dialect poets provide you with entertainment. We make a real effort to introduce our guests to the traditions of Styria.
TOP-TIP: Styrian tradition and a magnificent panoramic view atop the Schladminger Tauern; wooden toys and carved figures.
