If you think that this is a typing mistake then let us change your mind. Summer tobogganing is very popular, but the kind on the Hochwurzen is very rare. It is one of its kind. The difference to normal summer tobogganing is that this is held on a normal natural toboggan run made from pebbles and heads towards the valley. 
And why is this better and so good you ask? Well the feeling of wheels on pebbles is the closest possible to that of its winter brother, and the difference is you have a steering column and brakes. And you need them as you can reach speeds of 40 Km/h.. Really experience the element of speed over 7km! 

You can hire the summer toboggans directly from the Hochwurzen-Gipfelbahn Base Station in the Familienhotel Austria or Ski Lenz.

Then you simply swing up the 1900m mountain in the gondola, and can enjoy the panorama of the Enns valley from the most beautiful viewpoint mountain in the region, and during the 7km descent you can feel the wind rush through your ears.  Fun for the entire family!
