If you believe now that this is a misprint, then we can reassure you that it isn’t. The summer toboggan run is quite common, but the summer sled run is only available in Hochwurzen. In contrast to the conventional summer toboggan run, the FUN sledding course is completely natural for you are riding down a route made of crushed stones down towards the valley. NEW: you can also ride into the valley with a special, custom-made mountain go-cart!
And where will you be able to find better conditions than on this 7km (!) natural toboggan run on Hochwurzen, which already is an extremely popular winter destination? The sled on wheels is very similar to its winter brother, but in addition, it has got steering bars and good brakes. These are needed since speeds of 40 km/h can be reached. On 7 km, you can really experience what it means to be fast!

Mountain go-carts are out of this world and can only be experienced in Schladming/Rohrmoos. On special-made go carts with shock absorbers, you are driving only a few centimetres over the soil over a distance of 7 km at the Hochwurzen Toboggan Run, great fun for the whole family!
Departures every hour from the Hochwurzen Valley station from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the go-carts will be brought to the starting line for you.
You can use our safety helmets free-of-charge!
Naturally, you have the possibility to go hiking around Hochwurzen first, enjoy the view of the majestic mountain world or relax at the mountain restaurant situated directly at the summit. You decided your departure time! Mountain go-carts are available exclusively at the rental shop in the Schi Lenz valley station Hochwurzen summit cable cars.
