Almrausch Aprés-Ski Planai, the different ski lodge, is located next to the mountain station of the 6-person chairlift at the eastern ski-run and offers specialities such as the prominent Ox milk or an Almrausch half pint. Indulge in the magnificent view from the sun terrace onto the surrounding Dachstein massive and the Schladming Tauern and enjoy fair-priced grill specials.
The daily Après-Ski is unique on the Planai. The weekly highlight is Saturday’s Après-Ski with a DJ and beautiful dancers in a cage above the bar.

This is the home of the real and authentic. Just a step away from the cable car mountain station and still far away from reality. Charming interior, authentic decoration and a sheep pen separated from the restaurant by a glass wall make this lodge the ideal wellbeing place. The restaurant’s cooking is as real as its ambiance and pampers guests with both Styrian specialities and desserts like granny used to make. Unique on the Planai are the delicious pizzas and the fresh trout from the house’s own pond. The Quellbodenhütte used to be an old farmhouse in the Forstau and was re-built here as a ski lodge in 1995. Guests are welcome to relax in out two cosy rooms with fireplaces. Once you have regained your strength with a hearty soup or a cheese or honey pastry, feel free to indulge in the magnificent panoramic view of the Dachstein massive from our terrace.
